New Program Implementation Calendar

The tentative implementation calendar for changes in the parking system is noted below. This schedule is subject to change.

• May 29: Rates in the garages change.
• June 4: Discount monthly passes go on sale for use in July.
• June 30: Smart meters installed at all $1.50 on-street meters.
• July 15: New multi-space meters installed in Church Street East Lot.
• July 15: All other new rates and enforcement hours are in place for on-street meters, parking lots, and garages.
• August 1: Sensors installed at all $1.50 on-street meters.
• mid-August: New parking fine in effect.
• mid-November: End of initial 90-day evaluation period.
